Charities and non-profit organisations can promote themselves more effectively thanks to a campaign launched by a Preston-based print supplier.
The invitation has been made by Display Wizard, who are offering a free banner or PVC banner to all UK-based charities and non-profit groups such as community groups, schools and sports clubs.
Although the campaign is still in its first year, Display Wizard has already supplied more than 50 banners to organisations with many of the applicants coming from Lancashire.
“We are delighted to be able to offer a free banner to charity and non-profit groups,” said director, Diarmuid Beary.
“Every organisation – big or small – needs to promote themselves effectively and one of the ways this can be done is through large-format print advertising.
“Charities and other non-profits often work on limited budgets so promotional items can the first thing that gets neglected. That’s why our offer of a free PVC banner or banner stand can help many charities and non-profits raise awareness for their causes.”
The offer also includes an artwork setup service if required as well as free UK mainland delivery.
In order to prove the applicant’s charity status and acknowledge the offer, Display Wizard ask for a note of appreciation and website link to be placed on the charity or non-profit’s website.
