The opportunities for growth and the challenges facing SME businesses in the Fylde area in 2016 will be discussed in a seminar hosted by Moore and Smalley later this month.
‘Improve the performance of your business in 2016’ is an event aimed at SME business owners and financial managers, and will cover four prevalent business topics that are of key importance in the coming year.
Those are: FRS 102 and FRS 105; a tax update; preparing for auto enrolment; and an introduction and demonstration of SE+ – a cloud-based system which gives business owners better financial and management information.
The free event will be taking place on Tuesday, 23rd February at the Moore and Smalley Blackpool office, Fylde House, Skyways Commercial House, Amy Johnson Way, FY4 3RS.
Registration and refreshments are at 9am, half-an-hour before the presentations take place with the event concluding at 11am.
“Those businesses that manage to embrace and understand tax, financial, and accounting issues are those who tend to prosper and grow,” said Mike Hardaker, partner at the Blackpool office.
“The areas covered in the seminar will affect all SME businesses this year, so attending really could mean the difference between starting the year off on a positive, or falling behind.”
