Lancashire’s largest business support organisation, the NWL Chamber of Commerce, has welcomed experienced R&D Tax specialists, Access2Funding, as their newest Patron Member.
Headquartered in the North West with teams across the UK, the specialist firm are working with the Chamber to offer fellow members their expertise in securing tax relief on research and development investments.
The organisation has quickly grown to become one of the most respected in their field, nationally, providing a top-quality audit and application service for a sizeable client base in a vast amount of sectors.
Projects, in which a company is working to achieve a Scientific or Technological advancement in their industry, can qualify for claims.
The misconception that claiming R&D tax relief is reserved for those in highly technical or specialised industries which is not the case. Businesses in the administration & support services, wholesale, retail & trade, and the financial sectors are within the top ten sectors for claims.
Dawn Coker of Access2Funding said of the partnership: “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with the NWLCC, which provides huge potential for both parties as two trusted experts to businesses across North and Western Lancashire.
As one of the market leaders in our sector, by becoming a Patron Member of the Chamber we have pledged our commitment to delivering a range of quality services covering all aspects of R&D tax claims to fellow members and the wider business community.”
The Chamber’s Patron membership has been developed to offer a select number of quality organisations a platform to promote their unwavering commitment to the region’s business community through offering first-class services and customer care.
Patron membership is the most strategic and influential partnership the Chamber offers and is limited to just a handful of selected organisations.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce commented: “Access2Funding are a respected regional business and active member of the local business community. We are delighted that they have chosen to become a Chamber Patron member and work more closely with us to deliver yet another tangible business benefit to Chamber members.
“The Chamber represents its 1,600 members, from its offices in Preston and Blackpool, on a wide-range of issues, including red tape, transport, legislation, finance and international trade. But more than that, it really does play a key partnership role in Government regeneration initiatives to the benefit of all businesses in our region.
“Each Patron has committed financially to the Chamber above the cost of the standard annual membership subscription. The Chamber depends upon the support and goodwill of our members, sponsors and Patrons, who provide financial and other support for the Chamber’s activities and to its members.
Babs Murphy went on to say “I would like to thank Dawn Coker and the team at Access2Funding for putting something back into the local business economy through Patron membership. I hope the relationship between the two organisations continues to strengthen.”
Chamber members are being urged to engage with Access2Funding’s specialist services via the Chamber, and to make contact to see if they would be eligible to a rebate.
