A significant amount of funds have been made available to Further Education Colleges for Estates improvements/refurbishments. FE Colleges throughout the Country will need to move fairly quickly to progress the works. The Crescent Purchasing Consortium are creating a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which will allow Colleges to easily and compliantly procure suppliers.
The link below contains a further link to the tendering portal where suppliers can bid to be on the DPS. To be clear the DPS does not guarantee any suppliers a contract but provides a mechanism by which they are pre-approved so FE Colleges (and other Educational establishments) can compliantly procure services.
There’s an expected significant amount of money that will be spent via the DPS in the coming year so it presents a good opportunity for any suitably qualified organisation wishing to supply services to the Public sector.
Note the initial deadline for suppliers is towards the end of September but bidders can apply at any time.
