Timings & Delivery
Sessions can be run over any amount of time to suit you, although usually a minimum of around an hour. They can be run face to face at your venue or we can run them as online sessions over Teams or Zoom.
Our teaching usually takes place during term-times, but we might be able to arrange sessions outside of term-times so just let us know if this is what you require.
Requirements
Our ‘Wellbeing in the Workplace’ offer is completely free of charge – our only criteria, due to our funding, is that all our learners are aged 19 or over and live in Lancashire, so if you have staff living outside of Lancashire then do please let us know and we can discuss this.
We ask for a minimum of 8 learners on a session and can manage any maximum with enough notice. It is important to ensure you can reach the minimum number of learners before you book a session please as we are unable to fill courses cancelled at the last minute due to low numbers and it also leaves our teachers under-utilised. We are happy to ‘trial’ a session with you first though to see how staff recruit, before planning a full programme of activity.
We must enrol learners to our college for any session that we do, as you would at any adult college. The information is not shared with anyone but is used for our funding purposes and ofsted. Once the enrolment is completed staff can then enjoy any of our other available courses advertised on our website and their details will pre-fill, so they won’t need to fill in their details again. Ideally we would send you an enrolment link and you would ask staff to enrol before the event. If this is not possible we are able to bring down paper enrolment forms to be completed on the day, but we would need to allow time to complete these before the session starts.
For any new venue we teach from we are required to have a new venue audit completed, so if we are delivering face to face sessions for you we will need you to complete our new venue form before any new course can be set up.
