Over the past six months, the Chamber has been holding regular meetings with members who have joined four policy committees.
We now want to put together a Trade Policy Committee which would focus on international trade and exporting in Lancashire.
The county has a proud history of trading out of the UK, though recent developments following Brexit means many seem reluctant to sell their products further afield.
However, recent reports show UK international trade is having a purple patch with exports hitting a record £470billion last year.
Is your business one of these contributing? What else can the government do to help organisations trade outside the UK?
We are looking to form this committee in the next few weeks. If you’re interested, contact our policy manager Nick Hyde at nickh@lancschamber.co.uk
