CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply Operations

SRSCC’s CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement & Supply course has been designed to enhance strategic procurement competencies and refine managers’ skills.

The course aims to equip professionals with the necessary understanding to align functional, organisational and supply chain strategies, implement change management, improve leadership skills, manage stakeholders, develop procurement teams and relationship management, and excel in project and financial management.

Elective Units
After completing four compulsory modules, you will then need to choose three of the elective units below to earn the final 18 credits you’ll need to finish the course. Enhance your expertise with a deep dive into the latest industry trends and practices.

This qualification is aimed at individuals who have obtained the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma qualification and wish to progress. On completion of the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply students can then apply for CIPS member’s status (MCIPS) and also be eligible to apply for Chartered Status

This course is designed to give the strategic acumen to:

• Develop the procurement function, teams and relationship management
• Project and financial management

Each 12 credit unit is assessed through a 3-hour computer based exam consisting of essay style questions. Each 6 credit unit is assessed through a 1.5-hour computer based exam consisting of drag and drop, multiple choice and drop down list style questions.

Equivalent to: Bachelors(honours)degree. NVQ Level 6 (UK), SAQA NQF level 8 (SA), NZQA level 7 (NZ), AQF Vocational graduate certificate/ Graduate diploma (VET/AUS), TQF level 6 (TEVETA)
