Lancashare will be celebrating it’s second birthday on 27th November 2018. The online business platform which launched on Lancashire Day 2016 has taken the county by storm. In just 2 years hundreds of businesses are now part of this growing online community which aims to ‘pool’ the counties resources in one place for the benefit of all.
Councils, Chambers, Boost, colleges, universities, banks, networking groups, football clubs, start ups, SME’s and large organisations from across the county make up the Lancashare membership. Each organisation pools their events, awards, businesses, news, funding, jobs, tenders and more in one place to ensure the counties businesses have access to a platform of support from across Lancashire, making the county louder and stronger and much more collaborative.
Since inception, demand for the ‘share’ platforms has grown, with a new website due for release, a mobile application, 10 award nominations and demand growing in other counties, Lancashare will host it’s 2nd birthday on Lancashire Day (which they hijack as Lancashare Day). Last year saw almost 300 businesses from across Lancashire join in their birthday celebrations, where the High Sheriff of Lancashire and Mayor of Preston attended alongside the Houghton Weavers and a Lancashire dialect poet. This year the team have pulled out all the stops yet again, with high level networking, fizz, a 3 course Lancashire lunch, entertainment, updates and Lancashire comedian to keep everyone smiling through the afternoon, guests are in for a real treat.
Lancashare will also be incorporating the counties FIRST EVER buying event, with the aim of encouraging business in Lancashire, reducing our carbon footprint and keeping more money within our county! More information can be found here: https://lancashare.co.uk/viewevent/lancashare-day-2018/18437
