Ray Thain, Director of relocation project management company RTPMS, is celebrating 10 years of trading. Having identified a niche for his experience and skills within the commercial relocation market, business is booming.
RTPMS has just completed a year long project with Vodafone at their Manchester offices to accommodate 900 additional staff, and was recently awarded a contract with Nottingham University Hospitals’ Queen’s Medical Centre to manage their emergency department expansion. The project is tasked in the short term with alleviating the hospital’s anticipated “winter pressures” period, along with long term strategies for dealing with the ever-increasing daily departmental demands.
The journey to become the go-to relocation project management company has had its ups and downs, but not quite as many as Ray’s recent personal achievement. He walked the 268 miles of the Pennine Way in 14 days to raise over £3,000 for charity in memory of a close friend.
Ray fully intends to stay in the property relocation industry for at least another ten years, sharing his expertise and vision with companies that need his help. Another physical challenge may have to wait, though!
