The National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) works throughout the UK and Ireland to deliver high quality qualifications for dental nurses. Our mission is to improve the quality of education and training for dental nurses to promote patient safety and support effective dental practice.
Having recently been through a significant period of change, we now wish to strengthen the Trustee Board to support growth and development in a changing external environment.
We are seeking to recruit exceptional people to complement those of our committed Board of Trustees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in:
· Finance (with the potential to chair our Finance committee)
· Law
· Education
· Marketing
· Business
· Dental care.
This presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who have previous experience of board level work as well as those who are looking to become a trustee for the first time.
Trustees are required to commit to regular Board meetings held either via teleconferencing or at the charity’s headquarters in Lancashire. In addition, there are 2-3 supplementary meetings of the Board or its sub-committees annually and on-going information exchange which requires a regular time commitment each month. This is an unremunerated role although expenses will be paid for attendance at meetings.
