For the second year running Media Village, a leading Lancashire based creative Design and Marketing Agency took time out of their busy schedule to hold a fund raising coffee morning in support of SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity.
Steve Shread the MD of Media Village said, ” Supporting a charity that does so much for serving men, women and veterans from the British Armed Forces and their families, brings a pride to all of us but as a Royal Navy Veteran it personally feels very special to try and give something back to the people who are prepared to risk their lives for all of us.”
“As a business we support a number of local charities but we feel privileged to be involved with this National charity and were pleased that our second coffee morning raised nearly £400 and I am sure we will be aiming to beat that next year”.
The event was part of a much larger fund raising campaign that sees similar coffee mornings taking place all over the country as part of the Armed Forces Week, and the Media Village would like to acknowledge and thank the local business that donated prizes for the raffle that was held in particular RuComfy Beanbags, Rossendale Leisure Trust and Fruitcakes Kitchen.
