Investment Managers and Stockbrokers James Brearley & Sons Limited (trading as James Brearley) have become Patron Members of the NWL Chamber of Commerce.
With offices across the North & Western Lancashire Region, James Brearley, who celebrate their centenary this year, are working with their local Chamber of Commerce to offer the fellow members their expertise in investment management services.
Established in 1919 the organisation has grown to become one of the most respected in their field, providing high quality investment management and share dealing services.
Their traditional services are complimented by their cutting-edge online valuation and dealing facilities, all of which are supported by their nominee custody service.
David Hannis, Executive Director and Joint CEO of James Brearley & Sons said of the partnership: “We’re delighted to announce our arrangement with the NWLCC, which provides huge potential for both parties as two trusted advisors to businesses across North and Western Lancashire. As one of the market leaders in our sector, by becoming a Patron Member of the Chamber we have pledged our commitment to delivering a range of quality services covering all aspects of investment to fellow members and the wider business community.”
The Chamber’s Patron Membership package has been developed to offer a select number of quality organisations a partnership platform promoting their unwavering commitment to the continued strengthening of the region’s business community – by standing shoulder to shoulder with one of the county’s most highly respected business support organisations, the NWL Chamber of Commerce.
Patron membership is the most strategic and influential partnership the Chamber offers and is limited to just a handful of selected organisations.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce commented: “James Brealey & Sons are a respected regional business and active member of the local business community. We are delighted that they have chosen to become a Chamber Patron member and work more closely with us to deliver yet another tangible business benefit to Chamber members.
“The Chamber represents its 1,600 members, from its offices in Preston and Blackpool, on a wide-range of issues, including red tape, transport, legislation, finance and international trade. But more than that, it really does play a key partnership role in Government regeneration initiatives to the benefit of all businesses in our region.
“Each Patron has committed financially to the Chamber beyond the cost of the standard annual membership subscription. The Chamber depends upon the support and goodwill of our members, sponsors and Patrons, who provide financial and other support for the Chamber’s activities and to its members.
Babs Murphy went on to say “I would like to thank David and his team at James Brearley for putting something back into the local business economy through Patron membership. I hope the relationship between the two organisations continues to strengthen.”On September 10th James Brearley, which has a presence on the Fylde Coast, in Kendal, Southport and Preston, will officially celebrate their centenary with an invitation only investment lunch for local business representatives. Their key speaker is an experienced City based fund manager whose reputation is foundered on investing in solid medium and smaller sized listed companies.
