1. Non-Executive Directors, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Trust is looking to recruit two replacement Non-Executive Directors to the Board. The role of the NEDs is to support the board of directors in providing an independent view on the Trust’s strategy and oversee the Trust’s implementation of national strategies and regulatory compliance. 2. Board Directors/Trustees, The Ashley Foundation
This is a charity which was established in Blackpool 21 years ago to provide accommodation and support to single homeless people. Its vision is to relieve the poverty faced by homeless, vulnerable people in need and it is currently looking to appoint a number of new Directors/Trustees, in various disciplines, in order to strengthen the existing Board.
The role of the Board is to ensure that the charity is run in the best interests of the people it is there to support, to uphold the vision, protect assets and funds, and ensure that the foundation complies with legislation and regulation.
The role will appeal, equally, to those who already have Board experience and those who are looking to gain experience as part of their CPD.
