The Budget on March 11th could be the most significant in years and will certainly set the tone for Government policy over the next five years.
To help you understand the implications, we are hosting a Budget Breakfast Briefing in Preston on Thursday 12th March.
The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce has called for this new Government to introduce a budget that will boost confidence and stimulate growth.
We are looking to this newly elected government to make good on its election promises to fundamentally reform business rates, deliver the big northern infrastructure projects and provide absolute clarity of the UK shared prosperity fund and the UK’s much needed energy strategy.
The Chancellor is expected to unveil a strategy to boost the North in response to the Conservatives’ election success in capturing north west Labour party seats including Blackpool South and Burnley, potentially resulting in major opportunities for businesses operating in Lancashire.
This event is expected to be popular amongst Members. To avoid disappointment please reserve by emailing danielc@lancschamber.co.uk
Venue will be in Lancashire but is yet to be confirmed.
