Dozens of Chamber members from Lancashire and across the northwest have been making their voices heard at a number of virtual round table events for the government’s much-heralded Industrial Strategy.
The focus was on detailed policy design to improve the business environment and address the identified barriers to growth, specifically for the growth-driving sectors and across the economy.
The Industrial Strategy Advisory Council, comprised of experts from across academia and industry, continue to provide scrutiny, advice and challenge on the overall policy package.
Organised by the Department for Business and Trade, the roundtables are part of a wider remit of events looking at businesses roles in growing the economy.
