Paul Walters has recently joined the Chamber as International Trade Advisor and is keen to meet and talk with members already involved in the Import and Export trade as well as those looking to start their export journey.
Paul has 40 years’ experience in managing complex logistics and bringing new and innovative products to market. His aim is to help businesses grow and develop through international trade. Using his local knowledge and global contacts he will work with companies to improve their international performance.
His roles have included the logistical movement of goods by road, sea and air both export and import. He has also worked in the international commercial environment dealing with all aspects from production through to payment.
Travelling to overseas markets in Europe, North America, Middle and Far East for market visits, trade missions and exhibitions he can offer assistance on business and culture in these various markets.
Working closely with the Department for International Trade he can offer assistance with new market introductions and grants for exhibitions, market visits, consultancy and other aspects of export assistance.
