As part of an ongoing effort by the Chamber, to strengthen Lancashire’s supply chain, we are putting our members directly in front of companies who are looking to buy locally.
The next ‘Meet the Buyer’ event will introduce members to Lancashire Constabulary
The supplier event will provide background on the Constabulary Estates dept. details on these disciplines of work, the Framework procurement process and how to join Constructionline.
Lancashire Constabulary want to hear from small and medium sized business, social enterprises, or voluntary and community organisations, with new and innovative solutions, who are passionate about delivering added social value to Lancashire.
The fundamental objectives of these appointments are:
- To help suppliers achieve a better understanding of how ‘Procurement’ works
- To enable businesses to be in the best position to compete for public sector contracts
- To help Lancashire Constabulary understand your needs and how they can help to meet these
The Chamber will be hosting meetings between the buyers and potential providers – who want to hear about your business, its credentials, and what you have to offer.
Lancashire Constabulary recommends that its suppliers register with Constructionline.**
The Chamber will also provide access to a procurement professional for those businesses outside of the facilities management and service sectors, who wish to cut through red tape, secure a contact within the buying organisations, and have a better understanding of bidding for public contracts.
Because of anticipated high demand, we are only accepting booking applications by telephone – which will be opened during the week of 3rd March.
These appointments are only available to members of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

** For suppliers to the construction industry, Constructionline means that you no longer need to duplicate your standard company information for every construction tender repeatedly.
Constructionline is the UK’s leading procurement, and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set aligned to PAS 91, the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry. It aims to provide efficiency savings to public and private sector buyers and the construction industry by streamlining procurement procedures and improving supply chain management processes by reducing risk, creating cost efficiencies, and helping buyers engage with new suppliers, SMEs and local companies.
