President’s Lunch and 108th AGM with Leader of Lancashire County Council

Join the Chamber’s President, Council, and Board at the ‘President’s Lunch and 108th AGM’ of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

The event takes place at the beautiful Stanley House Hotel & Spa, Mellor, and includes a two-course lunch, created with locally-sourced produce. The Chamber’s President, Dawn Cheetham MBE, will address members prior to lunch, which will be followed by a special address from the Leader of Lancashire County Council, Phillipa Williamson.

As Leader of Lancashire County Council, Phillippa is politically responsible for overseeing Lancashire’s devolution journey.  The Government has announced that Lancashire’s historic devolution deal has passed a significant milestone, with legislation due to be put before Parliament shortly.

The deal, if given final approval, will transfer new money and powers from central Government to a newly created Combined County Authority, allowing it to tackle key local priorities.
