More than 2,500 businesspeople are already registered to attend Lancashire’s biggest business event, The Lancashire Business Expo 2016.
It takes place on March 4 at Preston Guild Hall, running from 9am to 4pm.
Ian Coupe, from Shout Network, the event organisers, said: “Lancashire businesses have really embraced the spirit of the event.
“It’s all about bringing together the thriving local business community and enabling them to build their organisations, collaborate and share success.
“Our Expo is the biggest business event in Lancashire this year and we urge as many businesses as possible to make the most of such a rare opportunity where they will have access to so many organisations under one roof.
“Last year, the inaugural Lancashire Business Expo was trending on Twitter with over 10 million views on the day of the event. We hope this year we can top that.”
Many of the 160 exhibitors have been keen to engage with the event and exploit their wares innovatively.
For example, Inleaf, the specialists in providing office plants, are displaying plants around two floors of the Guild Hall, stationary and office suppliers Lomas are providing each exhibitor with a branded stapler, while Lucky6 Marketing have organized a ‘selfie wall’ in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
Exhibitors and visitors will be encouraged to tweet their selfies with the wall sponsored by a dozen local businesses. Donation boxes will also be placed around the Guild Hall.
