The recently introduced Employment Rights Bill will have far-reaching implications for businesses and workplaces across the board.
This legislation includes 28 key measures, along with additional provisions, that aim to implement significant changes such as:
• Day one employment rights and statutory probation periods
• Enhanced access and rights for unions
• Limitations on the use of zero-hour contracts, agency workers, and restructuring plans
• A right to flexible working and the ability to disconnect outside of regular working hours
