Chamber Patron Member, James Brearley, have confirmed that they have been formally appointed as a Nominated Broker, to adopt former clients of Reyker Securities, which went into Special Administration last year. Their appointment by the Administrators received approval by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and will result in several thousands of clients moving across to James Brearley.
James Brearley, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019. The company’s Head Office is in Blackpool, with regional offices in Kendal, Formby and Preston. This development will lead to the company having custody responsibilities for more than £2.5bn of clients’ assets.
James Brearley has been working closely with the Administrators to ensure that as soon as clients’ assets are transferred across to their custodianship, clients will be able to place transaction instructions and have full access to their investments.
