Monday 16th January – 9am – 12:30pm – Year 10 Mock Interviews – Students will be gaining experience of a formal interview, that they have prepared for during an Extended Learning Day the week before. Interviews will last 20 minutes including short feedback time. Students will have researched a job role to guide them in the skills they need for their interview preparation. They will arrive at the interview with a file containing their CV, personal statement and job role search. You will be provided with a list of recommended questions, but you are welcome to ask your own. There will be a short feedback form to complete after each student interview that will be passed to students. Refreshments will be provided throughout the morning and lunch will be available before your departure.

Tuesday 24th January – 15:30 – 18:30 – Mock Interviews – Each student will be given a 20-minute time slot after school for a face-to-face interview. Questions will be provided for you to ask although your own questions are encouraged. Feedback is to be given in written form (not verbally on the day.) Can accommodate online interviews if needs be.
Wednesday 8th March – Year 8 Futures Day – Medical and Care Focus – 5 separate lessons of an hour each – open and flexible to timings and activity.
Thursday 30th March – 10:20 – 3:20 – Year 9 & 10 Careers Fair – half of each year to attend at a time (Roughly 90 kids per session) Lunch & refreshments provided.
Tuesday 4th April – Year 10 futures day – Banking / Finance Focus – Would ideally like a workshop on mortgages if possible. Flexible day, depending on what you offer but ideally 4 x 50-minute workshops, 10am – 2:30pm with dinner included.
