The great and the good of the Lancashire business community will gather tonight at Blackpool’s world famous Tower Ballroom to find out who has won a coveted BIBA for 2016.
The Be Inspired Business Awards (The BIBAs) is one of the highlights of the Lancashire business calendar and has become known as “the one they all want to win”.
Organisers the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce received over 1,000 entries for this year’s awards, and following an extensive series of interviews and site visits the judges are now set to reveal the winners at tonight’s glittering ceremony in Blackpool which will be attended by over 900 business guests.
Awards will be given out in 17 categories, plus additional awards for outstanding achievement in business (Lancastrian of the Year) and a new award for the Most Inspiring Young Person, supported by the BIBAs Foundation.
The BIBAs has particular importance this year as they take place in the Chamber’s centenary year.
Guests attending the awards ceremony are advised to allow plenty of time for their journey due to other events taking place in Blackpool on Friday.
