Warrington based Jackson Stephen LLP accountants and business advisors have earmarked Lancashire as a hot-bed in which to grow their business by pledging their commitment in becoming the latest Patron member of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
Jackson Stephen is well-established chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, operating a multi-partner practice and boasting a highly qualified team of specialist advisors.
Their regional client base boasts an eclectic mix of SME-sized family and owner-managed companies across the region who are engaged in a diverse range of industries and sectors.   A notably hands-on firm, Jackson Stephen undertakes an interactive approach with their clients’ business and personal affairs – to really understand what makes them tick.
Jackson Stephen understands that to work effectively, their firm has to operate as an extension of their clients’ operations – as an integral part of their business.
Steve Crompton, Partner and Head of Tax at Jackson Stephen said: “We are delighted to be involved with North & Western Lancashire Chamber as Patron members.  Our clients are of a similar profile to the Chamber’s members and working closely with the Chamber will help us to provide additional support to our clients in a number of different ways”.
The Chamber’s Patron Membership package has been developed to offer a select number of organisations a partnership platform showcasing their unwavering commitment to the continued strengthening of the region’s business community – by standing shoulder to shoulder with one of the county’s most highly respected business support organisations, the NWL Chamber of Commerce.
Patron membership is the most strategic and influential partnership the Chamber offers and is limited to just a handful of organisations.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce commented:  “We are delighted that Jackson Stephen has aligned their commitment to the business community of North & Western Lancashire by becoming a Patron of the Chamber.  Together our portfolio of business support enables both partners to contribute to playing a leading role in the regeneration of the local economy.
“The Chamber represents its 1600 members, from its offices in Preston and Blackpool, on a wide-range of issues, including Red Tape, transport, legislation and exporting. But more than that, it really does play a key partnership role in Government regeneration initiatives to the benefit of all businesses in our region.
“Each Patron has committed financially to the Chamber beyond the cost of their annual membership subscription. The Chamber depends upon the support and goodwill of our members, sponsors and Patrons, who provide financial and other support for the Chamber’s activities.
Babs Murphy went on to say “I would like express our gratitude to Steve, the partners and entire team at Jackson Stephen for putting something back into the economy, via Patron membership.  I hope the relationship between the two organisations continues to strengthen during the next twelve months”.
