The renowned Preston Marriott Hotel have become the latest Patron Members of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce as their trusted partner for hospitality, business travel & events.
The hotel, originally built as a family home in 1891, is situated in Broughton Village and is set amongst 11 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland.
Through the Chamber, the Preston Marriott Hotel will offer members & their employees exclusive opportunities and discounts on a wide variety of their services.
Libby Blackwell, Sales Leader at Preston Marriott said: “Preston Marriott has been a member of the North West Lancashire Chamber for several years and after working closely with the team, both hosting and regularly attending their range of events, we wanted to further enhance our relationship.
“We wanted to be the Chamber’s Hospitality Partner for 2020 to allow us to really maximise the strong relationship we already have whilst providing the Hotel with a greater platform to allow us to showcase our full range of facilities that we can offer to all Chamber members”.
Through their extensive range of meeting and function rooms to the high-quality leisure club and accommodation offering, Preston Marriott have committed to fully supporting local businesses with their business, corporate and leisure requirements.
The Chamber’s Patron Membership package has been developed to offer an invited number of quality organisations a partnership platform. This relationship will promote Preston Marriott’s unwavering commitment to the continued strengthening of the region’s business community by standing shoulder to shoulder with one of the county’s most highly respected business support organisations, the NWL Chamber of Commerce.
Patron membership is the most strategic and influential partnership the Chamber offers and is limited to just a handful of selected organisations.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce commented: “Marriott International are one of the world’s largest hospitality organisations with over 8000 hotels worldwide. We are delighted that they have chosen to become our latest Chamber Patron and work more closely with us to deliver business benefits to Chamber members across the region.
“The Chamber represents more than 1,600 members, from its offices in Preston and Blackpool, on a wide-range of issues, including red tape, transport, legislation, finance and international trade. But more than that, it really does play a key partnership role in Government regeneration initiatives to the benefit of all businesses in our region.
“Each Patron has committed financially to the Chamber beyond the cost of the standard annual membership subscription. The Chamber depends upon the support and goodwill of our members, sponsors and Patrons, who provide financial and other support for the Chamber’s activities and to its members.
“Babs Murphy went on to say “I would like to thank Libby and the team at Preston Marriott for putting something back into the local business economy through this Patron partnership. I hope the relationship between the two organisations continues to strengthen and members see the benefit of the two organisations working more closely than ever.”
