Napthens solicitors has added to its team with the appointment of Michelle Geraghty to their debt recovery set-up.
An experienced advisor, Michelle has joined Napthens from a role in the NHS and boasts a wide knowledge of customer service.
She holds qualifications including an NVQ Level 3 in customer care and a Level 3 CIPD qualification, along with a law degree from the University of Central Lancashire.
At Napthens, Michelle will work alongside their Debt Recovery Manager, Suzanne Dean, and help clients to deal efficiently and effectively with the recovery of debts.
Late payments are a major issue for many businesses, with recent research showing small businesses in the UK are owed more than £65bn in unpaid invoices with an average wait of 72 days for payment.
Suzanne said: “Chasing payments can be a difficult process for smaller businesses which often cannot afford the manpower to do so.
“Michelle’s appointment will mean the Debt Recovery team is well-placed to assist with this process, giving clients access to additional resources they may not have in-house.”
