Are you a local building and joinery business that would like to work at Lancaster University? Find out how you can get involved.
Lancaster University will be hosting an informal drop-in event at Forrest Hills for local small to medium building and joinery businesses on Thursday 6th October from 10am-4pm.
It is a chance to have a chat with University staff and find out more about opportunities to work on its Lancaster campus.
The event will run ahead of a procurement exercise being undertaken by Lancaster University to create a framework of a few local small to medium building and joinery contractors, to form an ongoing working partnership for jobs under £25,000.
Gary Tootle, Assistant Director of Estates (Operations) at Lancaster University said: “By joining our ‘Small Building Works Framework’, for the next three years a small number of local building and joinery businesses will have an equal share of work on our upcoming building fabric projects. This will enable us to develop closer working relationships with local contractors and help with the procurement of future framework opportunities.”
If you would like to come along you can visit https://lancaster-uk.libcal.com/event/3929476 to register your interest for attending the drop in or just turn up on the day at Forrest Hills, Hazelrigg Ln, Ellel, Lancaster LA2 0PL between 10am-4pm on Thursday 6th October.
