Following lobbying from the BCC and the Chamber Network, the UK government has extended the eligibility for the Coronavirus Job Retention (CJR) Scheme to new starters on the PAYE system up to 19 March.
The updated guidance also contains more details on how to claim and who is eligible for furlough. This lobbying success means that thousands more employees will be able to receive support through the CJR Scheme.
