On Thursday 27th June, St Catherine’s Hospice will be hosting a corporate ‘Thank You’ event which will be held in a beautiful marquee in the grounds of St Catherine’s Park.
St Catherine’s Head of Community Engagement, Emma Jacovelli, said: “So far we have invited local businesses that have supported the hospice and most recently, businesses that have taken part in a national campaign Open Up Hospice Care.
“We would like to open the invitation up to anybody wanting to know more about St Catherine’s Hospice. This can be a number of different things from finding out more information on the care we provide to our patient and families, how we can help your business for example CSR, team building and volunteering opportunities. We also offer educational services, training course, room hire and catering. We would also like to take the opportunity to find out from people what they would like from us and how the hospice can help them.
“The event is not a fundraiser, we just want to take the opportunity to say thank you in person to the local business within our Community and the opportunity to make some new relationships.”
On the day, the event will run from 8.30am till 10.30am and include breakfast sandwiches on arrival with an opportunity for light networking, welcome and guest speaker.
