The Employment Rights Act 2025 – Workshop

The Employment Rights Act 2025 is the biggest shake-up to the UK workplaces in a generation.  Are you confident that your organisation is compliant? As an employer, you need to be aware that this Act is a game-changer. From April 2026, the era of the probationary period is over.  Employees will be entitled to sick pay from day one, instant paternity and parental leave, job security, owing to the qualifying period for unfair dismissal plummeting. There’s a lot more that you need to prepare for, including the banishment of "Fire and Rehire”, zero-hours rights, and guaranteed contracts. There is a lot of detail behind the headlines.  But the Chamber, in association with partners Harrison Drury, is ready to guide you through the changes and make sure that your business is compliant.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work Course – 1 Day

09:00 - 17:00

This Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day training program designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and skills to respond effectively to medical emergencies in the workplace. This first aid course is ideal for smaller workplaces presenting few health & safety risks with candidates learning Basic Emergency Aid in accordance with the syllabus of subjects taught as set out in the First Aid at Work Regulations 1981 – Approved Code of Practice 2009. After successful completion of the course and assessment, an attendance certificate is issued qualifying them to work in industry as an Emergency First Aider for a period of three years.
